My overarching research interests center on understanding the molecular mechanisms of protein–lipid interactions and their roles in aging, neurodegeneration, and central nervous system diseases. Specifically, my work focuses on: (1) dissecting how vesicle dynamics and protein–lipid crosstalk contribute to neuronal function and dysfunction, (2) exploring vesicles as biomarkers and potential therapeutic agents for neurodegenerative disorders, and (3) developing innovative approaches for in situ structural biology and mass spectrometry–based lipidomic data analysis. By integrating these approaches, I aim to uncover new molecular mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative processes and identify novel biomarkers and therapeutic strategies for aging-related diseases and neurological disorders.
